20 years nostalgia history of Pokemon

Description

Nostalgia hit me really hard there :'D

There were a lot more interesting incidents revolving around me and Pokemon that I forgot to draw, like:

-the boy from neighbourhood being a sore loser during a link battle and closing his game in the middle of it resulting in data collapse on my side which deleted my devotedly raised Mewtwo;
-going to a Pokemon McDonald event with friends to get that event Deoxys and also getting to know the newly-released PMD game;
-buying illegal games from small stores in China where all the games' inner battery ran out and couldn't save. Finally buying a legal game was SUCH LUXURY.
-helping a friend play Emerald as he was stuck on the plot even if I got really motion-sick playing it on a car.
-and a lot more that will take too long to list. :'D

~Special Thanks~

-Mom, who bought me the toys in the beginning, continued to play shameful roleplays with me for many years, currently still knowing 300+ Pokemon names, cried at the Lucario movie before I even did, also reknown posing model of Ghetsis and other characters in my Sheer Cold comic, and being a cinnamon roll overall (look at the way I draw her; it captures her cute essence)...

-Dad, who used to be way better at gaming and drawing than I was, colored my terribly drawn Pokemon drawings and redrawing some, protected my Pokefigurines, often being compared with Snorlax and other chubby Pokemon although he wasn't that chubby back then, currently often sending me random cute pictures of Pikachu per WeChat...

-That kid in Chinese cram school who had some bad habits (like stealing) but shared a lot of my interests, first person I had a sleepover and link games with (even if sacrifices were made), also roleplayed real Pokemon battles with me, went to Pokemon events with me and even amazingly having the courage to answer a question at the FAQ event...

-My girl bff in German school who draws amazingly (probably has a deviantArt account by now but I'm not sure), drawing Pokemon doodles in school with me as a Dragonair and her as a Ponyta, brabbling about our feels over the PMD series, mixing a lot Poffins together rather than competitive battles..

-My boy bff in German school who I knew through helping him up as his gameboy was sent flying when he fell down, visited my home the most often and playing Pokemon (&other games) being our most frequent activity, currently grown out of Pokemon but still willing to talk about it with me just for the sake of nostalgia...

-My nee-chan :iconm-i-s-a-k-i: who introduced me to deviantArt and thus helping me start my art career, supporting my art even if she wasn't that much into Pokemon back then, did collabs with me using my immature art, currently fan of N and other Pokemon characters and also draws Pokemon pics on Tumblr which I'm really proud of, and also has a great taste in fandoms...

-The Manbaka-dan :icontachibana-chan: :iconocean395: :iconrockbat: :iconkittymaria: who drew a lot PMD fanart with me, marking the peak of my productivity and helping me improve a lot as an artist, and all of them currently draw AMAZING stuff from various topics (not sure about one guy but still)!! Check them out!!!

-The entirety of the Nuzlocke fandom, which I will thoroughly thank another time once Nuzlocke has also become a part of my nostalgia history. Currently I'm still in the middle of it!

POKEMON IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE, ESPECIALLY INFLUENCING MY ART, THAT I JUST HAD TO MAKE A SMALL BIOGRAPHY COMIC.
ONWARDS TO ANOTHER YEAR OF POKEMON AND NEW GENERATION!!! SUN AND MOON I'M READY!!!
